Summary:

This course is designed to provide participants with the fundamentals of planning and designing wells using the most up-to-date techniques. They will learn about the conceptual design and detailed engineering calculations involved in planning a well, the planning for vertical, directional and horizontal wells, the drilling fluids, bit selection, drill string design and casing program as well as the completion design of the wells.
