Wellsite and operations geoscientists; development and exploration geoscientists; directional drilling & MWD personnel.

Summary:

This course is designed to provide participants with the fundamentals of modern drilling techniques. They will learn about the function and interactions of drilling tools and procedures and will understand how and why particular drilling solutions are selected. They will perform routine drilling engineering calculations and become familiar with the duties and responsibilities of the drilling engineer as well as the rig site terminology and learn about new trends and technologies.
